Speed-Networking is a quick, informal opportunity for students and professionals to interact, asking and answering questions for a brief interview. Generally, there are several rounds of interviews, allowing students and professionals to meet with a broad array of individuals.
During GO Engineering Day, we will have 3 rounds of interviews, in which several high school students will meet with professionals, undergraduates and graduate students to learn more about each person's personal history, education and profession. Each interview will begin with a brief ice breaker. Students and professionals will each have a list of potential topics for discussion.
Students will be receiving a set of personal business cards, so we encourage our professional and students volunteers to bring their own to share and swap during this exciting experience.
